AURORA, IL — Illinois State Representative Stephanie Kifowit today announced her endorsement of Neil Khot for Congress in Illinois’ 8th Congressional District, citing his record of standing up for veterans, protecting reproductive rights, and showing up for the community.
“As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I am proud to support Neil,” said Rep. Kifowit. “Neil has been there for our veteran community. He’s been there supporting women’s reproductive rights, and I know he will be there for us in Washington. That’s why I’m supporting Neil for Congress and encouraging voters to do the same.”
Rep. Kifowit, who represents Illinois’ 84th District, emphasized that Neil’s leadership reflects the values veterans and working families expect from their elected officials, service, accountability, and a commitment to standing up for people, not special interests. Neil thanked Rep. Kifowit for her support, calling it a meaningful endorsement from a leader who understands service and sacrifice.
“Representative Kifowit has dedicated her life to serving others, both in uniform and in office,” said Khot. “I’m honored to have her support and to stand with her in the fight to protect veterans, defend reproductive freedom, and deliver real results for working families.” The endorsement adds momentum to the Khot campaign as it continues to build broad support across the district ahead of the Democratic primary.
