MEET NEIL

Community Advocate.
Local Business Owner.
First-Generation American.

Neil Khot knows that in the 8th District, nothing is handed to you – you have to earn it. He’s spent his life doing the hard work, from his first years in this country to his years as a community organizer on the ground. Neil is running for Congress because he’s fed up with watching the people who built this country get squeezed by high costs and ignored by politicians in Washington. He’s not looking for a title; he’s looking to take his experience as a fighter for this community to Congress and finally deliver the results our community deserves.

The Courage That Launched a Journey

Neil was born in Belgaum, India, into a lower-middle-class family. After his father passed away when Neil was young, he was raised by a single, widowed mother whose unwavering courage became the foundation of his life.

Neil saw his mother struggle firsthand with the complexities of the Medicare system and the high cost of care. Those struggles are why Neil’s fight to protect seniors is personal. In Congress, he will be a tireless advocate for ensuring our seniors have access to the benefits they have earned and the quality care they need.
