SCHAUMBURG, IL — October 7, 2025 — Democratic candidate Neil Khot today announced his senior campaign leadership team for Illinois’s 8th Congressional District — a lineup of nationally recognized operatives whose collective experience represents one of the most formidable campaign teams.
At the helm is Bill Hyers, serving as Chief Strategist — a nationally recognized campaign manager and advisor whose career includes victories at every level of government. Hyers has managed and guided winning Democratic efforts across the country, including campaigns for U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and U.S. Senator John Fetterman. His leadership experience and proven record of success bring national weight to the Neil for Congress campaign and underscore the growing importance of Illinois’s 8th District in the fight to maintain a Democratic majority.
Parthiban Shanmugam, Senior Strategist, adds a powerful dimension of national perspective and creative expertise. A geopolitical and defense analyst, award-winning filmmaker, and human rights advocate, Shanmugam has advised leading Democratic campaigns and advocacy groups nationwide. His experience bridging storytelling, digital communication, and public engagement makes him one of the most dynamic voices in modern Democratic politics.
Stephanie Adames, Communications Director, is a 2024 Reed Award–winning strategist with a track record of helping Democratic candidates win competitive primaries and connect authentically with voters. With over 15 years of experience in political communications and messaging, Adames has worked with campaigns, organizations, and public figures to drive growth, engagement, and meaningful voter connection.
Patrick Morales, Field Director, has led grassroots and voter-mobilization efforts for presidential and statewide campaigns, building strong community networks and field operations that deliver results. His work organizing across the country has helped shift the political leadership of states, empowering diverse coalitions and strengthening Democratic turnout in key battleground regions.
