Neil Khot and Campaign Volunteers Pack 63 Food Boxes to Help Feed Children in Need

Neil Khot joined members of his campaign team to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, packing life-saving meals for children facing food insecurity around the world.

Together, the group packed a total of 63 food boxes, enough to provide nutritious meals for 37 children for an entire year. The effort was part of a hands-on volunteer shift focused on addressing global hunger through direct action and community service.

“Hunger isn’t an abstract issue, it’s something families are dealing with right now,” said Khot. “Last night was about showing up, rolling up our sleeves, and doing the work alongside people who are committed to helping others. That’s the kind of leadership I believe in.”

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger by providing nutritious meals to children in need worldwide. Volunteers pack meals by hand, which are then distributed through trusted partner organizations in vulnerable communities.

Members of the campaign team emphasized that service is a core value of the campaign, not just a campaign message.

“This wasn’t about optics,” said a campaign volunteer. “It was about being part of something bigger and making a tangible impact, even in a small way.”

The campaign plans to continue participating in community service projects throughout the district, reinforcing its commitment to service, compassion, and community-driven leadership.
