CHICAGO, IL — Americans4Hindus, a national advocacy organization dedicated to promoting Hindu values, civil rights, and community engagement, has officially endorsed Neil Khot, Democratic candidate for Congress in Illinois’ 8th District.
The organization cited Khot’s commitment to pluralism, public safety, economic opportunity, and strengthening ties with the Hindu American community as key reasons for their support.
“Neil Khot represents the type of inclusive, forward-thinking leadership our community deserves,” said a spokesperson for Americans4Hindus. “He has shown a deep understanding of the issues that matter to Hindu Americans, from religious freedom to small business growth to ensuring every family has a fair shot at the American dream.”
Khot, a small-business owner and longtime suburban Chicago resident, said he is honored to receive the endorsement.
“I’m grateful to have the support of Americans4Hindus,” Khot said. “The Hindu American community has contributed so much to our district’s cultural and economic strength. In Congress, I will fight for policies that expand opportunity, protect our rights, and reflect the values we share — hard work, education, family, and community.”
Americans4Hindus noted that Khot’s background as an immigrant and entrepreneur resonates with many of its members. The group plans to mobilize volunteers and conduct outreach throughout the fall to help inform voters about the importance of the 2026 election cycle.
The endorsement comes as Khot continues to build momentum across the 8th District, earning support from community leaders, local organizations, and voters who want new energy and practical solutions in Washington.
